We had a good lunch at the Aguille du Midi 24/6-26. Great ambience and very friendly service. While we would have wished for some lighter dishes in view of the effort and the heat, we were pleased with what was served to us.
The apple tart was absolutely fantastic and one of the better we have had in a long time: excellent balance between sweetness and acidity; perfectly spiced; very well cooked. Just amazing.
Correctly priced wine Côte du Rhône Guigal 2022) for a cosy altitude restaurant.
